Greetings Parkland Beekeepers!
Welcome to the new year. What are your goals? Getting started, increasing colonies, healthier colonies, Nobel Prize in Beekeeping? Mine are to increase colonies and honey production and to improve the benefits to you of membership in the Parkland Beekeepers Association. My biggest goal is to work with Gregg and other “experienced” beekeepers to finalize the Advanced Beekeeping Class.
NEXT MEETING – TUESDAY January 17
Our January 2017 meeting is going to be an overview of 2017 meetings, filling in the holes in the programs, dates for the Beginning Beekeepers Classes and last minute details for Workshop 2017. Hope to see you then.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Workshop 2017 is Saturday, January 21. I’ve received several inquiries on getting registered. If you haven’t registered, contact Linda at pba_treasurer@mineralarea.edu so that we will have enough supplies and food. A special thank you goes to Chad for getting the keynote speaker, Ed Spivack (St. Louis Zoo Invertebrates Division).
I’ll print out dates for regular meetings and Beginner Beekeeping classes for the meeting.
